THE situation that occurred at Easter Road on Friday night when a supporter went on to the touchline at the Hibernian v Rangers Premiership game saw the national media step up interest in Scottish football clubs accepting 'Strict Liability'.
The BBC contacted Cowdenbeath for their view and director David Allan said: "Cowden was approached by the BBC seeking its view on the Strict Liability.
"We responded, 'When Strict Liability was previously being mooted a little while back, Cowdenbeath FC did not support its introduction. Our position has not changed thus we remain opposed to its introduction in Scottish football'.
The issue was raised again on Sunday when an Aston Villa player was attacked in a game with Birmingham.
