THE key fundraising event in Cowdenbeath Rotary Club's calendar will have a new venue in 2019.
This year's Ladies Day will now take place at Hill of Beath Ex-Servicemen's Club on Sunday May 5 instead of the Glen Pavilion in Dunfermline.
At Thursday's club meeting secretary David Hunter reported: "Due to a double booking our organiser Marie Shevas had to make a change in the plans.
"The Glen Pavilion has been home to Ladies Day since it started but due to the booking problem we have been lucky to get the use of Hill of Beath Club.
"While the capacity is reduced to around 220 it is still a lovely venue and tickets have been going fast, but there are still a few left."
Last year's event made a total of £12,000 for the Rotary Charities account.
