ON the afternoon of Sunday 10th March, Lodge St. John 540, in Crossgates, held its annual charity event and members were delighted with the amount raised to help the guide dogs cause .

This year's event was in aid of ‘Guide Dogs West Fife.’

On Sunday Robbie Carran, Dean Alexander and Jim Foster provided the entertainment.

The event was also attended later by the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master for Fife and Kinross, Stewart Quigley, and his good lady, who went along to present a cheque for the amazing sum of £1,000 to puppy walkers Bob and Hilary and ‘Mack’ who had with them a fourteen month very friendly, handsome golden retriever.

Thanks also went to Mary Ross, for providing the afternoon stovies and to everyone who attended this event and contributed raffle prizes.
