A LOCHGELLY man has been found guilty of assaulting his partner by grabbing her by the neck.
Steven Haldane, 31, of no fixed abode, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He was found guilty of a charge that on January 18 at his then home at McGregor Avenue, Lochgelly, he assaulted his partner by pushing her to the neck, causing her to fall to the couch and seized hold of her feet.
He was also found guilty of a second charge that he shouted, swore, acted aggressively and repeatedly struck a door.
Sheriff Charles MacNair imposed a community payback order with two years’ supervision and 250 hours of unpaid work.
