A WARRANT for the arrest of a Cardenden man was issued at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court after he failed to attend to answer a charge of dangerous driving.
Brad Peacock, 21, of Woodend Park, is accused of driving a Ford car dangerously on the A915 Standing Stane Road between Kirkaldy and Leven on May 2 last year. It is alleged he reached speeds in excess of 135mph.
A warrant was also issued for the arrest of Javed Aslam, 40, from Kennoway, who is also accused of driving dangerously on the same stretch of road on the same day and at the same high speeds.
Neither man appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court yesterday and the warrants were issued.
The stretch of road has a history of serious accidents
