Chance to pick up a bargain.
THERE is an outstanding chance to pick up a real bargain next week at the Cardenden Community Shop.
The Station Road community shop, run by Cardenden Development Forum, is holding a £1 sale starting on Monday March 18.
Said the Community Shop's Vi Penman: "Yes all items on the shop floor will go for £1.
"We are talking about ladies and gents items, along with children's, linen and toys all going for just £1.
"This is a great sale so don't miss out on the chance of picking up some great bargains."
The sale is running for one week only as the shop staff volunteers get ready for their spring and summer season."
