CARDENDEN Swimming Club would welcome more people to help support the organisation which has taught thousands of children to swim over the past 50 years.
The club has been part of the scene at Bowhill Swimming Pool since it opened and has produced many outstanding swimmers, including Gary Watson who was part of the Scotland Commonwealth Games team in 1986 and 1990.
The club continues to produce good young swimmers but needs more people to get involved and help it continue the excellent work it does.
Said Life Member Tom Slaven: "The club does excellently but it could do with more people to help out behind the scenes and on the coaching side".
Anyone who would like to help out should contact Bowhill Pool in Station Road, Cardenden.
