AS their next show, Legally Blonde, is a very 'ensemble heavy' show, Lochgelly based Nardone’s Academy of Performing Arts is reaching out to gain more dancers and singers and males looking to be a part of this wonderful production!

The show will this time be staged at Dunfermline's Alhambra Theatre over three days, August 29, 30 and 31.

This is the fifth show to be staged by the former Lochgelly Youth theatre set up, run by Liam Nardone, and he is hopeful of getting more young people involved in what is the enthusiastic group of young artistes' biggest production yet.

Said Liam: "Round two of auditions will take place at Lochgelly Baptist Church Hall, in Station Road, on Sunday March 31, from 11 to midday.

"There are no requirements or preparation needed!!! All aged 8 and above are welcome".

He added: "Auditioning for a show is a very exciting and nervous time, but please remember you are there to show off your talent, strengths and technique. Stay pink, stay positive! Don’t let anyone stand in your way! Come along and join in on all the fun!"

Meanwhile the Academy is holding a series of classes in the coming weeks.

These include a JAZZ CLASS on a Wednesday night from 7pm until 8pm at the Baptist Church hall and a Saturday morning 11:30pm till 12:30pm

Added Liam: "This is open to all ages and ability. If we have enough people to hold specific age group classes this will be updated in the future!"

Nardone’s Academy of Performing Arts is running a ballet class at the church hall venue on a Saturday 10:30 till 11:30 and also a Beginner's Musical Theatre Class on a Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm for 3 to 7s and from 7pm to 8pm for 8s+.

Meanwhile during during the Easter Holidays on Friday April 19 (12-2pm) a Musical Theatre Workshop for all ages. If you are interested in this or want to try something new get along, it is open to all ages and abilities!

During the next few weeks the Academy is also holding a couple of social evenings. They are having a Quiz night on Saturday March 16 (7pm-9pm) in the studio, classes or full scale production and members of the local community can attend, adults can bring their own alcoholic drink. Tickets are £5 you can buy on the door on arrival.

Then in April Nardone’s Academy of Performing Arts are having a Karaoke night on Saturday 13th (7pm-9pm) in the church hall studio and again classes or full scale production and members of the local community can attend), Again adults can take along their own alcoholic drink.
