POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two tractors were stolen from a farm in Auchtertool.
The incident took place overnight between Friday February 22, and Saturday February 23, from a property located a short distance away from the Orrock Quarry Road.
The vehicles have been described as a Green John Deere tractor, with the registration place SP08 DFA, and a blue Valtra tractor with a registration of SP16 BFU.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "It appears the vehicles have travelled on to the Orrock Quarry Road, therefore we want to hear from any person who have seen tractors travelling on this road late Friday night in to early hours of Saturday morning.
"Officers are continuing with inquiries and ask anyone with information that can help trace the vehicles and those responsible to come forward."
Those with information are asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1064 of 23 February. Alternatively a report can be made to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
