THIS week's Down Memory Lane selection comes from one of our exiles Johnny Rutherford, who came from Ballingry originally before moving away with his work to Warwickshire some years ago.

Johnny has read on the Times website about the situation involving Glencraig's boundary and felt it was a good time to send up these pictures up to us.

He said: "These are photos I have had for many years and with all the debate going on about the village I thought there were worth putting in Down Memory Lane.

"One of them is of the village around 60 plus years ago showing the shopping area, and another shows the village from the south side.

"Another shows one of the shops from maybe 70 plus years ago while there is also a shot of Glencraig Club".

If you have any old photographs you would like to see in Down Memory Lane send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
