A GROUP of youngsters from Kelty are doing their bit to try and lessen dog fouling in the village.
Like many local communities, parts of the village suffers from persistent dog fouling problems.
So the children of the Wee Troopers Childminders decided something should be done to persuade dog owners to clean-up after their pet.
Said one mum, Kelly Burns: "My children's child minder "Wee Troopers Kelty" have been making poo bag holders and hanging them around the village in a bid to help dog owners clean up their pets toilets and not leave it on the paths".
The youngsters enthusiastically took to the task and hope it will persuade some errant dog owners to change their ways.
