THIS week's Down Memory Lane selection comes from the books owned by Cowdenbeath woman Mary Burt.

Mary has the book published by Rhona Wilson some years ago called 'Old Lochgelly' and we are delighted to publish these four pictures.

These include a picture of the former Bank of Scotland building on Bank Street after it had been rebuilt following demolition some 50+ years ago. The branch was closed just a couple years ago.

There is also a picture from the early part of the 20th century of staff at the Lochgelly Co-operative Society shoemaking shop and then one of a West End Picnic parade in the town from the early part of the last century.

From Benarty there is a picture of youngsters from John Street, Crosshill, in the late 1930s.

If you have any old pictures you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send these to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
