A PLAN to turn the former Lochgelly Baptist Church into homes has been given the green light by Fife Council planners.
A plan to change of use of the building in Station Road from a church (Class 10) to two dwellinghouses (Class 9), along with the demolition of the church hall, was lodged with the council by Mr Andrew Kirk.
The church closed two years ago but the hall has recently been used as a rehearsal base by Lochgelly Youth theatre group.
