Harry Potter fans will want to grab their wizarding robes and speed as fast as their broomstick will carry them to Cowdenbeath and Lochgelly tomorrow.

ONFife Libraries are hosting a Harry Potter Book Night, a fun evening for the whole family, to celebrate JK Rowling's fictional hero, the famous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and the magical world he lives in.

All muggles, witches and wizards are invited to the Jennie Lee Library in the Lochgelly Centre or Cowdenbeath Library for a very special Care of Magical Creatures lesson by "Professor" Calum from Cool Creatures.

This will be followed by a sorting ceremony, Hogwarts themed crafts and games.

This is the fifth annual Harry Potter Book Night and it's all about passing on the magic of JK Rowling’s amazing books to the next generation of readers, as well as celebrating with devoted fans.

There are hundred of events planned all around the world, across bookshops, libraries, schools and people’s homes.

The events at the Jennie Lee and Cowdenbeath libraries both take place tomorrow, Thursday February 7, and are aimed at children between five and 12. The tickets are £1.50.

The Lochgelly event starts at 3.30pm and in Cowdenbeath the magic gets underway from 4pm.

There are also events in Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes.
