THE Cowdenbeath Community Police team are renewing their appeal for witnesses following a break-in to a garden shed in Cardenden.

The incident happened sometime between 10pm on Thursday November 15, and 2pm on Saturday January 5, in the Muirtonhill Road area of Cardenden.

After entry was forced to the garden shed, two bikes worth over £2,000 were stolen.

The first bike stolen was a green/blue coloured Bianchi Freccia Celeste road bike, which is half aluminium and half carbon fibre. The bike has Bianchi decals in black on the frame, with black grips and saddles and has an orange or black saddle bag.

The second bike is a gold coloured Specialized Crosstrail, which has a Specialized decal on the frame in black and the saddle and grips are pink. The bike also has Cindercross tyres and hydraulic brakes.

Detective Sergeant Kieran Marsh said: “Anyone who has information about regarding this crime is asked to contact Dunfermline CID on 101, quoting incident 2341 of 5th January, or contact the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
