DRIVERS in Crossgates can expect another week of traffic as roadworks take place at a busy junction.
Work started on the Springhill Brae and Inverkeithing Road junction last Wednesday, January 16, and is set to finish in mid-February.
Fife Council have asked drivers to be patient during the improvements.
Ian Jones, lead consultant, said: "These works are to improve traffic flow through the junction which serves the new housing development at Gallows Knowe, Crossgates.
"The work is due to finish by the middle of next month and, to help minimise disruption, we have asked the contractor to manually control traffic lights at peak times. We will continue to monitor the situation and ask for drivers' patience during these works."
