CARNEGIE Leisure Centre has been given a top star rating by Visit Scotland.
Upgrades to changing areas, gym equipment and layout were just a few of things praised by the Scottish tourist board in their recent inspection report of the facility.
It means that Carnegie Leisure Centre has been awarded the coveted four-star award for another year after recording an impressive score on all aspects of visitor experience.
Visit Scotland also praised the standards of staff as well as the quality of maintenance of the facility.
The centre is managed and operated by Fife Sports and Leisure Trust.
James Dunbar, area leisure manager, Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, said: "We are very pleased that Carnegie Leisure Centre has been rated so highly once again and that our work to deliver high standards for customers is recognised – as a charitable trust, we rely on their support which allows us to re-invest profits back into facilities for the benefit of the local community.
"We will be taking on board all the feedback from the Visit Scotland report so that we can strive to implement suggestions and continually improve our facilities. Our goal is always to meet and, where possible, to exceed customer service expectations."
