A CARDENDEN woman has admitted committing a benefits fraud to pocket more than £4,600.
Jane Ritchie, 52, of Craigside Road, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She admitted that between February 1 and November 21, 2017, she failed to give prompt notification to officials of the Department for Work and Pensions of a change in her circumstances which she knew affected her benefits and fraudulently received £4,622.10 in Employment and Support Allowance.
Sheriff Craig McSherry called for reports and Ritchie will be sentenced on February 6.
