A FESTIVE prize draw saw 12 lucky Stagecoach customers in East Scotland, each receive £100 in shopping vouchers, along with an East Scotland dayrider ticket to help with bus travel on the day of their shopping trip and one of them was from Kinglassie.

The 12 Days of Christmas draw was launched in December and customers were invited to enter via the Stagecoach bus website or by filling in a paper copy of the entry form.

A winner was randomly selected from all entries each day between December and announced on the Stagecoach East Scotland Facebook and Twitter account.

Louise Mutch from Kinglassie was one of the lucky winners and said: “I was over the moon when I found out I won, I’m going to spend my vouchers in the sales. Thank you very much!”

On Christmas Eve, an additional bonus prize was awarded to Sheena McLean, who won a four week East Scotland megarider worth £173.

Jon Oakey, Acting Managing Director, Stagecoach East Scotland said: "The festive period is an expensive time for most, so we were delighted to give something back to our customers and offer over £1,300 of fantastic prizes. "By giving away a day’s worth of unlimited bus travel across East Scotland, this means our winners have a wider choice of where they can go to spend their shopping vouchers. Congratulations to all our winners!”

The East Scotland zone ticket provides unlimited travel across Fife, Perth & Kinross, Dundee and Angus as well as journeys to Edinburgh, Stirling, Falkirk, Forth Valley, Glasgow, Livingston and Aberdeen.
