Said show director, former Lochgelly High School pupil Liam Nardone: "We are looking for performers to have read over their acting piece, however, the song provided, must be known off by heart in order to perform it on the day in front of our board of directors!

"You MUST bring along water, Registration fee/Headshot (if you haven’t already sent this to us and secured your place), comfortable clothing and/or leotard and specific dance attire if you have this). We will not accept any jeans or denim on the audition day.

"People will be provided with their acting pieces again when they arrive but should ensure they have read over this before hand!"

Added Liam: "The audition day will consist of two dance routines, the prepared song and acting piece, and some improvisation and acting strategies.

"Auditioning for a show is a very exciting and nervous time, but please remember you are there to show off your talent, strengths and technique. STAY PINK, STAY POSITIVE! Don’t let anyone stand in your way!

"If you need anymore information after you have filled out the sign up forms, read over this once or twice and paid your registration fee, then just message our Facebook page and we will be happy to help! No question is a stupid question!"

Liam has been the person that has guided the former Lochgelly Youth Theatre through several successful shows, the last of which was the Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime at the Lochgelly Centre before Christmas.

In less than two years they have mounted five shows and seen a host of young performers show the immense talent there is in the area.
