A TEENAGER has made a Court appearance in connection with an incident in Cowdenbeath on New Year' Day.
The 17 year-old has been charged with assault to severe injury following an incident in the town's Thistle Street. A 19 year-old was hurt and taken to hospital in the incident.
The accused appeared on petition at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Thursday and made no plea or declaration.
The case was continued for further examination and and the 17 year-old was released on bail.
