PUPILS from Lochgelly High's S1-6 have been getting their dancing shoes on and impressing the PE department with their Scottish Country Dancing.

It has been fantastic for staff to see all year groups showing so much enthusiasm to this traditional Christmas end of term activity, dancing along to both current and traditional songs.

Indeed, S6 pupils took part in Strictly Come Scottish Dancing, with Cian and Abbie winning after consistently scoring high across five different dances and they are pictured with the trophy.

Meanwhile the school had six girls compete at St Andrew’s High School in their annual dance competition.

The girls performed to a very high standard, with a lot of positive feedback from the judges.

Their hard work resulted in a 1st place for Junior Group, 3rd place for Junior Solo (Abbie), 2nd place for Junior Duet (Katie and Inez) and 1st place Junior Duet (Abbie and Millie).
