LOCHGELLY High School was invited to represent Fife in 'The Year of the Young People – Voices Event' at the Arches, in Glasgow.
This event gave young people a platform to have their voices heard and views acted upon through a number of workshops and talks.
The young people, from both Lochgelly High School and the LHS cluster of primary schools, had a great time and even got to have a chat with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon about their experiences and are pictured with the FM.
Voices: YOYP 2018 was an event inviting 300 young people from across the country for a day of inspirational speakers and workshops.
From vlogger workshops, to comedy confidence and slam poetry, the day was a memorable one.
Run by groups of young people, it hoped to spark ideas and practical ways that young people can keep using their voice and make change happen after the Year Of Young People.
