THE first Down Memory Lane selection of 2019 comes from Elaine Thomson, a former Benarty woman who now stays in Dunfermline.
Her pictures show shots from Lochore going back 60 or more years and two of very popular nitespots in the Benarty area of the post war era.
These are of the Rosewell Bar, after it had been damaged by fire and closed, and a view of Glencraig Institute, which became one of Fife busiest clubs.
Also there are two pictures of Waverley Street, Lochore, and children from the street of the 50s.
If you have any old pictures you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
