COWDENBEATH Community Theatre's 2018 show was another great production from the enthusiastic cast.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs saw a cast of 38 people, all local amateur artistes, produce a beautiful show on the Lochgelly Centre stage.

The traditional tale, with a few Cowdenbeath tweaks, had audiences of all ages fully engaged during its run at the Centre.

On the Wednesday and Thursday evenings, courtesy of Exxon/Mobil, who operate the Fife Ethylene Plant at Mossmorran, hundreds of senior citizens from all over the Cowdenbeath-Lochgelly had a free evening at the show and all had a great time.

Cowdenbeath Community Theatre prides itself in ensuring that it nurtures young talent and this year's show had 22 youngsters on stage.

They all equipped themselves excellently and sung, danced and acted excellently but the 16 adults of the cast also did brilliantly to ensure a fine show.

CCT chairman, Alex Keatings, was pleased with the way the show went: "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs provided its own challenge for us but every member of the cast did superbly well.

"We were delighted with the way the show went and it was great to see so many senior citizens coming along and really enjoying themselves.

"We have to thank the management of the Fife Ethylene Plant for sponsoring Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

"Also the general public who came to the other evenings and made it a memorable show."

Alex added: "During the show we had people from the CHAS organisation at Kinross collecting for the charity and the cast made the total up to around £1,000 by a donation of £250.

"All in all we would like to thank everyone who make Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs such a great occasion, now we look forward to the 2019 show, 'Babes in the Wood".
