FIFE Council have been given the green light to change the use of a grass bank to create parking at a Cowdenbeath housing area.
The local authority had lodged an application to change the use of the grass island opposite 26 to 32 Greenbank Drive, from public open space to a public cark.
Greenbank Drive, like many of the housing areas in Cowdenbeath struggles for car parking space and the council hope that using the grass area will alleviate the problem.
