THE Benarty Events Group big Christmas weekend begins on Friday evening with the Santa Parade setting off from Crosshill at 5pm.

“Hopefully the weather will good for Santa and his reindeer,” said Events Group chairman Eddie Easson.

Saturday sees The Annual Christmas Fayre at the Benarty Centre. There are still a few stall places left if anyone requires one. Details can be had from the Centre. The Christmas raffle will be drawn as well on Saturday with some fantastic prizes.

On Sunday The Benarty Events Group Community Lottery will be drawn in Lochore Institute with a fantastic £9,700.00 jackpot prize. All lottery entries will be entered into a free raffle draw for a First Prize of £1,000 followed by ten prizes of £100.

Added Eddie: "Like all lotteries and raffles if you’re not in it you can’t win it. Don’t miss out on this fantastic chance to have a great Christmas".

On Wednesday at 4.00 pm BEG will be switching the Christmas tree lights on at The Miners Memorial Garden and everyone is welcome to go along.

With some fantastic support from Fife Council and Blachere Lighting the group have managed to light up another part of the Benarty Community.

On Boxing Night the group’s Christmas activities will conclude with the Boxing Night Dance in Lochore Institute with the fantastic Joe’s Band. Tickets are available from the Institute.
