LOCAL businessman Mr Kenny McAlpine has very kindly sponsored Lumphinnans Primary School's new sports tops as the school continues to promote its health and wellbeing plans for pupils.
The school's Linda Skelding said: "It is really very kind of him and much appreciated by all children.
"At Lumphinnans our health and wellbeing agenda is one of our main priorities and we feel that it is important to give all children the opportunity to participate in all aspects of health and sport.
"These kits will enable the children to take part in a variety of festivals and events. The children are looking forward to wearing our new kit at all future sporting competitions".
Mr McAlpine is pictured with the Lumphinnans house captains.
Added Linda: "We would also like to thank the Parent Council for very kindly sponsoring the shorts to match our tops to finish off our new look".
