A COWDENBEATH man has been sentenced for embezzling money over a five-year period, following a jury trial at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
Jonathan Drury, 51, of Acorn Road, was manager and director of Phoenix Precision Limited when he committed the offence.
He was found guilty of a charge that on various occasions between January 1, 2010 and February 13, 2015 at William Tracy Waste Management, Cable Road, Glenrothes and Phoenix Precision Limited, Crompton Road, Glenrothes, he embezzled a sum of money.
Sheriff Craig McSherry called for reports and Drury returned to Court for sentencing.
The Sheriff imposed a community payment order with the maximum amount of unpaid work, 300 hours.
Drury was also placed on supervision for 14 months.
