THIS week's Down Memory Lane collection comes from Mary Bell's album of old photographs.
There is a picture of Bowhill Colliery Silver Band from 1946 and these bandsmen were highly successful and that year they won fourth grade at the Scottish Championships, and a photo of Bowhill Goth from just after the First World War.
Also featured is Glencraig Colliery, one of the big employers during the height of the coal generation from the local fields and this picture was taken in 1925.
The last picture is a shot of some pitheid lassies although we are not sure exactly which colliery they were working at.
If you have an old photograph you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take these to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
