POSITIVE Me Positive You is a project aimed at helping people manage their health problems without prescription medicine and Kinglassie residents can get involved.
Doctors in the Glenrothes area can now refer patients to one of the Positive Me Positive You’s link workers instead of prescribing drugs.
Run by Fife Council’s Hannah Grubb, the project promotes patients health and wellbeing through practical support with: Loneliness: Reducing stress: Community based adult learning and employability support: and Getting involved in your local community
Hannah Grubb commented: “I’m very proud that Positive Me Positive You is helping people approach their health problems in a different way.
"It's important to remember that many things affect our health, and not all can or should be treated with medicine. This project helps people look for alternative solutions to tackle their problems.”
