THE special Hallowe'en event held by the 4th Fife Cardenden Scouts on Saturday saw a fine day which raised a lot of money for the group who are carrying out a lot of improvements to their Cardenden Road base.
The Spooktacular on Saturday saw a goodly gathering of visitors to enjoy the fun day and take part in a lot of the events which had a very scary element about them.
Treasurer Rosemary Wallace said: "I am delighted to report we raised over £900 towards the next phase of our hall repairs.
"We were able to show off the phase one work, our new kitchen and toilet facilities, plus our new Community Minibus which will be used by over 17 groups in the village.
"We would like to thank everyone who was involved in the day, their generosity was quite unbelievable."
