THE Benarty Fundraisers' kids Hallowe'en Party was a massive success on Friday night.

Lochore Institute was packed with 180 youngsters who were dressed to thrill and frighten.

They spent a lot of time on designing their brilliant costumes and had a great time.

They also met the new Fundraisers' mascot, Bing the Bear, and had a lot of fun with someone who is going to appear a lot at events in Glencraig, Lochore, Crosshill and Ballingry.

Mary the Canary was also there, someone else who will be representing the Fundraisers in the coming months.

Said the Fundraisers' James Fotheringham: "The kids were absolutely brilliant and wer dressed to frighten, no doubt about that.

"They also loved meeting Bing and Mary!"

The next Fundraisers' event will be Benarty's Got Talent. This will take place at the Institute on Saturday November 17 and it is a chance for young entertainers to take the stage and perform.

The age group is the from 8 to 18 and entries can be lodged via email a benartys.got.talent@gmail.com or via the Fundraisers Facebook page.

Added James: "There are a lot of very talented young people in the four villages and we want to see them show off their talents at this event."

Then a week later there will be a Race Night at the Lochore Welfare Social Club with a sharp 7pm start. There is free entry and there are still some horses that can be sponsored at £5 a time.

Call James on 07801855566 for details of the race night.
