FIFE Council are looking to change an area of grass in a Cowdenbeath street to car parking provision.
The local authority has lodged a planning application seeking consent to change of use from public open
space to public car park at the Grass Island opposite 26 to 32, Greenbank Drive in Cowdenbeath.
The grassed area is fairly extensive and the roads and transportation department see it as being able to take the strain of parking provision in the Greenbank area.
