BEFORE the Autumn break six senior Beath High School pupils visited a busy and vibrant Carnegie Conference Centre for the Career Ready Launch event.
The Career Ready programme enables school pupils throughout the UK to gain invaluable work and life skills through a mentoring program with a wide range of different companies.
This launch event provided the pupils with a chance to meet their company mentors and gain a greater understanding of what will be happening throughout the two year programme.
Pupils will be working hard over this school term to prepare for a paid summer internship that will provide pupils with excellent opportunities to develop their skills for life and work.
Beath High School was also represented by a former pupil, Lyn Reilly, who was chosen to present to the new Fife Career Ready cohort about her experiences as a Career Ready student.
Lyn excellently explained the positive impacts that the programme has had on her life and how it has had a great impact on her exciting career journey that she has now embarked on.
