POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a black coloured Ford Transit van from Cardenden on Friday September 21.
The vehicle, which has a black coloured roof rack and bears the registration number YP17 NEY, was stolen from Cluny Park, Cardenden, near to the junction with Carden Avenue between 9pm and 8am the following morning.
Officers are now asking anyone who has seen this vehicle or who has information that can help them with their inquiries to get in touch.
Detective Constable Gillian McEwan said: “We are appealing to the public in an attempt to reunite the stolen van with its owner. The van may have had its features changed since its theft, and we are asking the public to bear this in mind also.
“I would appeal to anyone with information to contact Dunfermline CID by calling 101 and quoting reference number 1106 of 22nd September. Alternatively, you can contact the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 anonymously.”
