THIS week's Memory Lane selection comes courtesy of Dennis Beveridge, of Cowdenbeath, who set up the Kool Kats in 1977 to teach bop and jive to the girls in the YMCA, Pit Road, Cowdenbeath.
They entertained in old folks homes, clubs and the Carnegie Hall.
He also wanted to give the boys something to do too so they started a football team. Well known Cowdenbeath man, and current chairman of the town's community council, Alex Haddow is back row left in this snap from 1979.
