The first residents started moving into new homes on The Avenue last month.
RESIDENTS only started moving into Lochgelly’s newest housing development last month and plans are already in for phase two.
Easy Living Developments Ltd, of Glenrothes, have submitted proposals to Fife Council for another 48 homes next to The Avenue.
Last month the first residents began moving into bungalows on the site, which is located on the eastern fringe of Lochgelly and close to the A92.
In total, the firm plan to build more than 100 homes on the site and the application includes access roads, paths and landscaping.
Construction work has been ongoing for most of the year and the finished development will have a mixture of bungalows, three-, four- and five-bedroom detached villas and semi-detached houses.
