BENARTY Fundraisers are hoping Hugh Jackman can help them get their own community cinema up and running.
They're planning to show a singalong version of the Aussie actor's film, The Greatest Showman, to gauge interest and hopefully bring more movies to the villages at a low cost.
The screening will be in Lochore Miners Institute at 1pm on Sunday October 7 and the tickets cost just £2.50.
A Facebook post from the group explained how the Benarty Community Cinema could become reality: "In order to secure funding and grants we need to show there is a desire within the community for providing this, so community support is very important.
"We are now at the first stage of this and have secured the much appreciated support of Kelty Community Cinema, who will be assisting us to show our first film.
"We hope to see you there!"
The tickets are now available fundraiser members, with popcorn and sweets available to buy on the day.
