A CROSSHILL man drove dangerously at excessive speed, failed to stop for police and then abandoned the vehicle.
Jamie-Lee McLaren, 23, of Inchgall Avenue, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on September 7 last year, in Main Street, Crosshill, Easter Cartmore, Lochgelly and the roads between, he drove dangerously, repeatedly accelerated harshly, drove at excessive speed, failed to stop for police when signalled to do so, overtook other vehicles at excessive speeds and abandoned the vehicle.
McLaren also admitted that on January 13 last year, at Gleaner Gas centre, Broad Street, Cowdenbeath, whilst acting with another, forced open a lockfast pressure washer and stole a quantity of money.
He further admitted that on January 17, at Asda, Carberry Road, Kirkcaldy, whilst acting with another, forced open a lockfast pressure washer and stole a quantity of money.
Sheriff Charles MacNair called for reports and McLaren will return to court for sentencing on October 10.
