THE Kelty Church Bible Holiday Club Mega Makers created a whole lot of success with the children making a great success of the venture.

The Mega Makers was down to planning over a number of weeks by Deborah Steele and Penny Shackleton and came to fruition the week prior to the Holiday Club starting.

With a huge help from the volunteers helping and doing all that was asked of them, gluing, sticking, painting etc, and making the Mega Machine, the Holiday Club started very formally with the children enrolling and getting the Mega look book to fill in each day with different items. and colour in as they would like.

Mega Makers was led each day by Deborah and a focus was made each day by the leaders on Ps 121prior to starting with 'I to the hills will lift my eyes, Where does my help come from, It comes from the Lord, The Maker of Heaven and Earth.

The first story was about creation. God created the world and it was good and this was followed by God creating Man and Woman, Adam and Eve Temptation, what it means to us today.

The Craft section was on about plastic pollution today in our world.

The children were then asked to decorate a plastic bottle with a lot of exciting features.

The children also had a quiet place, where they could go and draw colour in books or just be quite.

It was very popular with the children to have time on their own.

This was designed by Penny with help from her supporters.

The next story was of the Roman Tax Collector Zacheus who turned to Jesus and repaid those who he had robbed ten fold.

We can change to children who wer told when we turn to Jesus for help.

Songs featured a lot over the week and the children led the worship at the offering singing with the leaders, 'It's a wonderful world we live in.'

The walk to Emmaus was done by Aleisha, Bethany and Darren and they did very well portraying the characters of the story.

There was also a quiz daily featuring the Bible story of the day. The children had to find three golden keys. This was a very good game between the girls and boys.

The other attraction was Mum and Wee Hughie, this was very good game with lots of laughs and wee Hughie behaved himself well.

The Celebration Service on Sunday for the Holiday Club was very good, warm and friendly.

With the Holiday Club children playing a big part mums and dads can be very proud of their children, they were all great.
