THE young Lochgelly artistes who put on The Addams Family at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe last week are now looking forward to playing to home audiences.

Lochgelly Youth Performing Arts took their version of this musical to the Greenside Theatre and it was enjoyed by hundreds of people.

Now they are looking forward to their shows at Lochgelly Centre at the end of this week.

They are at the Centre on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, and also will put on a matinee on Saturday.

Said Lochgelly Youth director, Liam Nardone: "We had a great week at the Fringe.

"We sold out a massive three performances and at the other three managed to sell more than half our tickets.

"The audience response comments and reviews was outstanding and the feedback we got back from audience members and technicians was phenomenal".

He added: "The performance itself went amazingly well, and with an hilarious comedy script the cast had a ball performing it to the public on a whopping six days straight.

"The show itself is a great production, it’s very funny, and even though people may not think it’s a show they want to see I can assure anyone after watching this one it will become one of the best musical productions they have ever seen".

Ticket information for the show is available from 01592 583303. Tickets are £10 and £8 concessions.
