A COLLISION on the M90 near Kelty on Saturday saw traffic held up for a considerable period on the southbound carriageway.
Three vehicles were involved in the accident which occurred at 12.30pm.
The incident was exacerbated by the fact that one lane was coned off for roadworks.
Police reported that one person was injured in the collision which caused long tailbacks.
It was also revealed that a 65 year-old man had been arrested after the accident and charged with road traffic offences.
