A THREATENING weather forecast saw last Sunday's Bark in the Park event at Lochore Meadows Country Park postponed.
The organisers, the Second Chance Association's Ena Conyon confirmed this week that it will now take place on Sunday coming, August 5.
Said Ena: "On Saturday we met with Meedies manager Ian Laing who pointed out that heavy rain was forecast for Sunday afternoon so we thought it would be wise to postpone things for a week.
"As it turned out it would have been a pretty difficult day to hold Bark in the Park with heavy rain hitting the area for quite a long time.
"Hopefully things will be a lot better this Sunday."
Several thousand dog owners will be expected at the Meedies this weekend when the weather forecast is for a dry day with broken sunshine.
Added Ena: "We have some good events planned for this Sunday and we hope dog lovers and anyone who likes a friendly day in the park will come along."
Bark in the Park will start at 11am and run through to 4pm.
