AN appeal has been made to blood donors in Cowdenbeath to turn out in big numbers this month.
During the holiday season blood supplies can go down with potential donors being on holiday but the need for the life preserving stocks never goes down.
So when the Scottish Blood Transfusion Service's withdrawal unit comes to own on Thursday August 23 a good turn out is needed.
Said organiser for the service in the town, Betty Young: "Stocks are always under pressure and we would welcome regular Cowdenbeath donors and new people to come along on August 23.
"The more we get the better to ensure that we can send a good number of donations from the town."
The Blood Transfusion Service will be holding a withdrawal session on Thursday 23rd between 2pm and 4pm and 5.30pm till 7.30 pm at the Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre, Pit Road.
Would you please advertis this session or us via you media.
Thanks.
Mr. Betty Young, Volunteer/organiser
