THE Cowdenbeath football community has been saddened with the sudden death of long time Blue Brazilian Hugh (Shug) Scott.
On Saturday morning club officials and fans heard with great sadness of the sudden passing of the longtime Cowden fan at the age of 63.
Director David Allan said: "It was a great shock to us all at Central Park and of course to all of Shug's fellow fans.
"He was well known to so many of us. As a member of the Junction Bar Cowdenbeath Supporters Club he had loyally followed his club through all its ups and downs in recent times, and indeed, over many, many years.
"He will be greatly missed by us and heartfelt condolences go out from everyone connected with Cowdenbeath FC to Mhairi, to Keir and Kylie, and indeed to all his family and friends."
