A FORMER Crossgates Primrose player who tragically lost his life last year is to be remembered in a memorial charity match this weekend.
Liam McOmish passed away suddenly at the age of 21 on May 28, and one of his ex-teammates and close friends, Bailie Kay, has worked with the club to organise the match to raise funds for Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH).
A Crossgates Primrose XI will face a Friends of Liam XI at Humbug Park, Crossgates, nearly a year after his passing, on Sunday, at 2.00pm.
Entry to the game is a £1 donation to SAMH.
