THIS year's production from the Lochgelly and District Amateur Musical Association is 'The Wizard of Oz' and it must have the youngest cast ever put on stage by LADAMA.

The show opens on Tuesday May 29 and runs until Saturday June 2 with a matinee also on the last day.

Amazingly there are 60 youngsters in the cast split into three groups. The Jitterbugs, who are pictured, are the older grouping and they will feature in every performance but the Rubies and Emeralds will share the six performances. And there will be special appearances by 'Toto' the dog!

Said LADAMA president, Bill Paul: "It certainly has to be the youngest cast we have ever had which is great for the Association."
