BALLINGRY charity cyclist, Magali Christie, is on her way home after completing the first-half of her 600 mile challenge of cycling from Benarty to John O'Groats and back.
The French born 41 year-old set off on Monday, after recovering from a bout of sickness, and on Thursday reached John O'Groats after putting in a lot of hard work in changeable weather conditions.
She reached Dornoch on Wednesday and then headed over the Black Isle and on to John O'Groats.
Magali is wasting no time to make it back to Ballingry and already is on her way to Inverness.
She said: "So far so good and really enjoying it. All things going well I hope to be back in Ballingry at the beginning of the week."
Magali has taken on her challenge to raise money for the Benarty Fundraisers; and Meningitis Research, after two of her friends lost their baby twin aged only 11 weeks through Meningitis and Septicaemia.
