THANKS to Acorn Aid, which is backed by several organisations in the Cowdenbeath area, a vehicle loaded with a host of much needed supplies for Eastern Europe is on its way.
On Thursday, November 2, Acorn Aid (Scotland) sent a fully loaded vehicle of medical equipment, school equipment and clothing for Social Services.
This aid will be delivered by Rascals Nursery's owners, Brian and June Miller, to North West Bosnia, over the next two weeks.
Said June: "Whilst in Bosnia Brian will be training hospital staff in the use of the medical equipment, and I will be liaising with childcare facilities".
Acorn Aid (Scotland) was established in 2015, and is supported by Thistle Medical Training, Rascals Nursery, Trinity Church, along with family and friends.
The photograph was taken prior to departure with members of Acorn Aid (Scotland) and Trinity Church.
